What is Yoga?
It is a 5,000 year old science of breath and movement that develops your strength, flexibility, balance and focus.

Is Yoga a religion?
At the Center for Yoga you will likely find a rabbi and a priest in the same class!

How will I benefit from Yoga?
Yoga tones and lengthens muscles, increases vitality, relieves back pain, improves circulation, purifies organs, and releases tension.

Will yoga help me manage stress?
Yoga’s deep, complete breathing calms the nervous system and releases tension.

What if I’m not very flexible?
You don’t need to be flexible! Our classes at the Center for Yoga will move you toward greater self-awareness, health, and balance.

Will Yoga help with other athletic activities?
Yoga will IMPROVE your athletic performance through increased flexibility, strength, lung capacity, range of motion, concentration and balance. Many local professional and Olympic athletes have benefited from classes at the Center for Yoga.

What do I need to do to start?
Just show up and have fun! Yoga is for every body type, age and ability. Anyone can start today and experience the benefits.

Are your teachers certified?
All of our teachers pass through the Center for Yoga’s Teacher Training course with Jonny Kest. The Center for Yoga is a Yoga Alliance registered school.
